VOLUNTEERS
The Hubbard Street Mural Project, on Hubbard between Ogden and DesPlaines in Chicago, is a unique opportunity for art and community service. Community groups and individual Chicagoans are welcome to come draw and paint from 10am-4pm on Saturday July 28 & August 4, 11, & 18, 2007. Please meet at the Mobile Mini (southwest corner of Hubbard & Aberdeen) before 10am. More information on our procedures is available upon request.
If you’d like to get involved as a volunteer staffperson, please email us at HubbardStMural@yahoo.com. We are looking for dedicated volunteers that can offer approximately 10 hours per month and 3 Saturdays during the painting season. Positions needed are: artist mentors, mural restoration artists, artist coordinator and scheduler, certified public accountant, legal counselor and grantwriter. We welcome you to join us in creating this historic work of art.
